The Julian Shrine
11 May 2013 - 10:30am - 3:30pm

This year's Julian Festival will begin at 10:30 with a Festal Eucharist. At 12:00 Pauline Lovelock will offer the 2013 Julian Lecture: Voices from the Shrine - Pilgrims' Powerful Encounters within the Sacred Walls of Julian's Shrine. A Ploughman's Lunch will then be offered at the Julian Centre, followed by four workshops in the afternoon. At. 3:00 the Friends of Julian will hold their AGM, followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

The Friends of Julian is an international association of people who have been inspired by the spiritual legacy of the medieval mystic and writer Julian of Norwich.

Our purpose is to encourage interest in Julian’s life and work. We do this through facilitating a prayer network, carrying out educational initiatives, and by offering guidance and resources for visitors to the Julian Shrine.

Please make sure you order in time for your goods to arrive by Christmas

This is just a reminder more specifically for our customers from abroad who may wish to purchase items in time for Christmas that it takes approx 6 weeks for goods to arrive via airmail to USA, Canada and Australia. We don't know what happens or why the goods take so long but please be aware of this so you can order in time.

We are in the process of building a new online database which will help reduce administrative tasks at the Julian Centre and free up time and resources for other things.

We are planning to gradually replace the postal mailing system for Friends with an email sytem using this online facility. Please would you be kind enough to help us with this task by sending your email address, if you have one.
